Over two days, a total of 137 samples were collected. Once the lab results are obtained, we will initiate legal proceedings,” he said. Commissioner of food safety D Hari Chandana instructed food safety officials to collect multiple samples and expedite the testing. These items are vulnerable to contamination, an official said. Appropriate action will be initiated against violators in accordance with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) Act as soon as the analysis reports are received, he said.
