According to the information received, an auto rider had gone to Lavagada village to sell Chowmein, Chard and Pani-Puri (Phuchka), who toured the village area and fed Pani Puri, Chowmein, Chaat etc. to several dozen people from his auto. But the health of the people who ate the chaat suddenly started deteriorating and after an hour the person who ate the chaat started having vomiting and diarrhea. Within no time, an atmosphere of chaos was created in the village area and about two dozen people fell ill with vomiting and diarrhea. Then people understood that everyone's health had deteriorated due to eating chaat. Those who became victims of food poisoning include Sanket Kumar, son of Raju Ram of Lavagada village, daughter Mahi Kumari, Mahir Kumar, son of Rajesh Ganjhu, daughter Ankita Kumari, Pinky Devi, wife of Santosh Bhuiya, Anurag Kumar, son of Niklesh Ganjhu, son of Laxman Ganjhu. Hrishikant Kumar, Ramchandra Ganjhu's daughter Aarohi Kumari, Kajru Bhuiya's daughter Nishu Kumari, son Nishant Kumar, Deepu Bhuiya's son Ayush Kumar, Kalu Ram's daughter Babli Kumari, Rinku Bhuiya's son Shatrughan Kumar, Ajay Bhuiya's son Poonam Kumari and others. Two dozen people are involved. Everyone has been brought to Balumath Community Health Center with the help of family members, where they are being treated under the supervision of Dr. Sanjay Siddharth.
