The food samples included milk, milk products, cereal and cereal-based products, fruit products, sweeteners and wheat flour, an official said. The highest number of 1,229 samples were collected in Gurgaon district during the given period, of which 342 (28%) declared failed. In neighbouring Faridabad, nearly 34 per cent of the total collected samples (593) were declared failed. In Panchkula, the percentage of failed samples is nearly 18 per cent, according to the RTI information. Mewat tops the list with nearly 39 per cent of samples failing tests, Hisar followed with a little more than 34 per cent of failed tests, and Yamunanagar at the bottom with 10.47% failed samples.
