Adulteration in everyday food items has become a common issue, one that is a cause for concern for one and all — not just from an awareness point of view but health, too. In the wake of the same, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) keeps sharing useful and simple hacks that can help check for such adulterations.
“Adulteration of food deceives the consumer and can cause risk to their health. The purpose is to list out common methodologies available for food adulterants generally found in India,” FSSAI wrote on its website.
